Frankenstein, written by the 18 year old Mary Shelley, was originally published in 1818. This audio version uses the text of the revised 1831 version of Shelley's famous tale.
The Novel commences with the framing narrative of Captain Robert Walton in the form of four letters written to his sister. This is followed by Victor Frankenstein's narrative, which itself contains the narrative of the 'monster'The novel concludes again with Walton's letters.
