One-Man Shakespeare: A New Journey Begins with Macbeth

"All the world’s a stage... and one man in his time plays many parts..."

Those words from As You Like It have always resonated with me, but perhaps never more so than now.

While I take some time away from stage acting following surgery, I’ve found myself needing a way to stay creatively connected to Shakespeare, to theatre, and to storytelling.
Thus began the idea for One-Man Shakespeare — a series of dramatic audio performances where I aim to bring some of Shakespeare’s plays to life, performing every character myself.

This is not a full theatrical production, but something between a radio play and an audiobook—a world shaped through voice, atmosphere, and imagination.

I begin with Macbeth—the shortest and, perhaps, the most intense of Shakespeare’s tragedies.
The dark journey of ambition and fate seemed a fitting place to start.

Act 1 is now live!
The performance is supported by atmospheric soundscapes to enhance the mood, and closed captions are available to assist in following the full text and speaker transitions.

🎧 Best experienced with headphones for the full richness of voice and sound.

If you enjoy Shakespeare, dramatic storytelling, or simply exploring creative projects born from a love of language and theatre, I’d be delighted if you joined me at the beginning of this adventure.

Your thoughts, reflections, and encouragement are very welcome.
And as always, thank you for sharing the journey.
