John Clare"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Poem 74 - 100 days of poetry<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"A World For Love - Poem By John Clare by Rob Goll\" width=\"525\" height=\"400\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?visual=true&url=https%3A%2F%2Fapi.soundcloud.com%2Ftracks%2F312522401&show_artwork=true&maxheight=788&maxwidth=525\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nOh, the world is all too rude for thee, with much ado and care;<br \/>\nOh, this world is but a rude world, and hurts a thing so fair;<br \/>\nWas there a nook in which the world had never been to sear,<br \/>\nThat place would prove a paradise when thou and Love were near.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>And there to pluck the blackberry, and there to reach the sloe,<br \/>\nHow joyously and happily would Love thy partner go;<br \/>\nThen rest when weary on a bank, where not a grassy blade<br \/>\nHad e\u2019er been bent by Trouble\u2019s feet, and Love thy pillow made.<\/p>\n<p>For Summer would be ever green, though sloes were in their prime,<br \/>\nAnd Winter smile his frowns to Spring, in beauty\u2019s happy clime;<br \/>\nAnd months would come, and months would go, and all in sunny mood,<br \/>\nAnd everything inspired by thee grow beautifully good.<\/p>\n<p>And there to make a cot unknown to any care and pain,<br \/>\nAnd there to shut the door alone on singing wind and rain\u2014<br \/>\nFar, far away from all the world, more rude than rain or wind,<br \/>\nOh who could wish a sweeter home, or better place to find?<\/p>\n<p>Than thus to love and live with thee, thou beautiful delight!<br \/>\nThan thus to live and love with thee the summer day and night!<br \/>\nThe Earth itself, where thou hadst rest, would surely smile to see<br \/>\nHerself grow Eden once again, possest of Love and thee.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ssb_list_wrapper\"><li class=\"fb2\" style=\"width:135px\"><iframe src=\"\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/like.php?href=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.robgoll.com%2Fcontent%2Faudio-recordings%2Fa-world-for-love-john-clare%2F&amp;layout=button_count&amp;action=like&amp;show_faces=false&amp;share=true&amp;width=135&amp;height=21&amp;appId=307091639398582\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" style=\"border:none;
